Job Description:
The Shipping Associate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of shipping and receiving, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products. This role involves a variety of tasks, including picking, packing, and shipping orders, inventory management, and coordinating with other departments to fulfill customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Assist in inventory control, including counting, organizing, and maintaining inventory levels.
- Operate shipping software to print labels, manage shipments, and track inventory.
- Conduct quality control checks on outbound shipments.
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Sales teams to resolve shipping issues and improve customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist in other warehouse tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting preferred but not required.
- Basic computer skills, familiar with shipping software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Must be a team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
