Warning:
Installing this product requires Welding and Fabrication skills, If you
are not confident in your abilities to complete this task please have this
installed at an qualified off-road shop .
Tools required: Safety
glasses, grinder, Welder, Welding
blanket , Jack, Jack stands, Wheel
Chocks.
Step 1:
Please take inventory of parts, Call Artec Industries Immediately if you have incorrect or

Step 2:
Place wheel chocks at the front wheels of the vehicle, Use a Jack and lift the rear of the
vehicle off of the ground. Set Jack stands under the rear axle .
Step 3:
Hang a welding blanket over the rear driveshaft to protect
it from debris and welding spatter
.
Step 4:
Using a grinder or wire wheel remove any paint or debris from the cross
members under the rear of the Jeep Once area is prepped for welding hold the
JK2022 bracket into position using the 2 alignment holes in the cross member
and bracket to properly locate the bracket and weld it into place .
Step 5:
After the bracket is welded into place, Apply Primer and Paint the cross member and
bracket then remove the welding blanket
from the driveshaft .
Step 6:
Raise the vehicle up off of the jack stands and remove them
from the vehicle then lower the vehicle to the ground .
