The APEX Truss combines cost savings, strength, weight savings, ease of installation, precision fitment, and complete axle protection in one revolutionary design. The unique peaked shape top adds extra rigidity while reducing weight and eliminating long weld seams. This results in reduced axle warping, faster installation, and improved consistency. Ideal for the APEX 1-ton swap kits for JK, JL, and JT, this truss fits most 14 bolt axles and enhances rigidity and strength around the differential.
Notes : This truss is very form fitting to the contours of the casting. Due to variances in casting of this axle over the years, some trimming may be necessary on the truss and non-essential parts of the casting.

14 bolt Rear APEX Short Truss
Needed a truss for upper linkage for a 14 bolt axle going under an 80 series landcruiser this is a well designed and simple truss at a decent price. I decided i dont need full width (or more weight) so this was ideal. The thing had perfect gaps for welding and fitment and it looks great. Nice it ties into the axle tube just past the housing as Ive heard of a few 14 bolts spinning axle tube under hard usage this ties it all in. Nice cut out for breather tube as well.

Fits perfect with low profile that gave me 2 more inches of travel. Plus looks awesome.

This truss was so easy to weld up It was as simple as placing them onto the 14 bolt preheating it up then burning it on The fit and finish are amazing and I wouldnt expect anything else from Artec I look forward in the future to switching it over to a 4 link and taking advantage of this even more

this is a great product i love the low profile design. i didnt need the whole truss so i bought this just to mount my upper control arms on. worked perfect and looks awesome
